I won't bore you with the details of how these pages, particularly this one (Medicine) came to be. Suffice it to say that I had a personal interest in many of the topics. Specifically, two of my former colleagues died of complications due to Parkinson's disease. And one died of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease or motor neuron disease. Because of this experience, I have a personal interest in Social Security disability, how to apply, and what happens if you're denied. So it's probably not surprising that I have sections in the medical page on this topic, on Parkinson's disease and some others. But I do not put links to law firm websites on this site because they are generally just ads for the firms. Unless they have some information on a specific condition, or advice on applying for disability, or some other specific personal interest to me, I won't put links to their websites. If anyone thinks their medical condition was caused by someone, there are ample legal esources available to them. |
